Nox Medical received the President of Iceland’s Export Award for achievement in the exporting of Icelandic products and services to international markets.
The presentation took place at a special ceremony at the presidential residence Bessastadir. Petur Mar Halldorsson, Nox Medical’s CEO, along with all of Nox Medical’s employees, accepted the award from the President of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson.
This prestigious award is given to Icelandic companies that excel at promoting and exporting Icelandic products and services. Criteria for receiving the award includes the ratio of revenues that is from export business, a proven track record of successful market development, and overall added value to Icelandic economy.
Petur Mar Halldorsson, Nox Medical’s CEO was quoted as saying: “We are extremely proud to receive this award. We see this as a testament to the strength and quality of our employees. I also believe that by receiving this award we are accepting responsibility to continue on our path to promote the Icelandic technology sector.”
Other noted recipients of this award include Icelandair, Ossur, and Marel – all renowned companies in their respective fields.
